I had the pleasure of photographing Shaima & Hamish’s wedding at The Caves in Edinburgh’s Cowgate. Another really interesting, unusual venue.

Marie & Bruce- Airth Castle Hotel
Marie & Bruce were married at Croy, with their reception afterwards at Airth Castle Hotel, a lovely venue. The weather was slightly unhelpful, but Airth Castle is always great for photos. Here are a few shots from the day.

Angela & Iain- Arta Glasgow
Angela & Iain were married at Arta, in Glasgow’s Merchant City, a really gothic venue with dramatic lighting and decor. A lot of their friends and workmates from Real Radio were in attendance for the Humanist ceremony, followed by the reception upstairs. Spectacular venue in the city centre

Lisa & David-Glenbervie House Hotel
Lisa & David were married at the lovely venue of Glenbervie House Hotel, near Larbert. A beautiful place for photos, both inside and in the surrounding grounds. Light is always a challenge with weddings in the autumn, but off camera flash and Lowell lights make for stunning images.

Cathy & Ally, Wedding at The Vu, Bathgate
We recently photographed Cathy & Ally’s wedding at the Vu, Bathgate. Our bride Cathy looked like she had stepped out a magazine, our groom Ally was slightly more reluctant to get his photo taken! It was a great day and Angela and her team from the Vu made everything run like clockwork. The Vu is a great venue and we were keen to get the iconic shot on the jetty but Cathy was slightly apprehensive in case she fell in the water so we took some shots from a different angle which I think have turned out even better. Cathy was eventually comfortable enough to go to the end of the jetty just as the sun was going down. I could not help getting her fabulous shoes involved in the shoot! Looking forward to showing our bride and groom their slideshow when they return from honeymoon.

Linda & James- Windlestrae Hotel & Kinross House
I photographed the wedding of Linda and James in Kinross recently, at the Windlestrae Hotel, and we were able to use the grounds of nearby Kinross House too. Lovely formal gardens and an impressive country house too. I’ll post some images when Linda and James return from honeymoon, but in the interim here’s a photo of the boys enjoying the flowers….
Charlene & Scott- Glenskirlie Castle
Charlene and Scott were married at Glenskirlie Castle. The weather was just kind enough and we shot some beautiful images inside and around the castle. Here are a few images from the day.
