Katie & James at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel
I recently photographed Katie and James’s wedding at Kelso followed by their reception at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel. Cold, but the rain and snow held off and we were able to capture some really nice images in and around the hotel and grounds.

Pre Wedding shoot-Shona & Alistair
A very cold pre-wedding shoot at Mugdock Country Park with Shona & Alistair. Ice still covering the loch but we braved the low temperature to capture a great selection of images for their signature mount. All set for their wedding at The Buchanan Arms Hotel in Drymen in March

Treble Trouble
Had a busy afternoon shooting Lucy, Michael and Lewis. Luckily the Gruffalo was on TV so it all went quite smoothly. Here’s a photo of a rare quiet moment….

Claire & Simon Pre Wedding Shoot, Edinburgh
Here’s an Image from Claire & Simon’s Pre Wedding Shoot on Saturday. We walked along the bank of the frozen Union Canal at Craiglockhart. Cold and frosty, but nice light and the canal bridges gave the shoot a gritty urban feel. Final preparations now for the wedding at Houston House Hotel in February.

Katie & James Pre Wedding Shoot
Cold and snowy for Katie and James’ pre wedding shoot in Leith. We shivered around the Shore to take some images for their signature mount for the reception on 6th February at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel at St Boswells in the Scottish Borders.

Kristy & Kieran- Atholl Palace Hotel Pitlochry
I really enjoyed taking the photographs at Kristy and Kieran’s wedding last week which was held in at the Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry. Kristy is from Australia and the couple work there, Keiran as a golf professional. The wedding guests were a Scottish Australian mix and had a great time in a really lovely venue. After the ceremony on the lawn in sunlight in front of the hotel we moved to the Japanese garden in the grounds for some more album photographs. Kristy and Kieran were a smashing couple to work with.

Wedding Fayre Glasgow
Just back from 2 days at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. It was great to meet so many couples planning their big day. 2010 is booking upvery quickly, and unfortunately I had to disappoint several couples due to clashing dates. Next stop Braehead on the 5th and 6th September. If you’d like a free ticket just drop me an e-mail.
Tracy & Mark -Doune Castle
Tracy and Mark were married at Doune Castle near Stirling, which is an amazing venue and really does give you some fantastic backdrops. Beautiful stonework and a great hall with enclosed courtyard. Tracy and Mark were great to photograph and really put the time and effort into getting some stunning images for their wedding album. Both being Monty Python fans, we had fun setting up some scenes from the film Monty Python & The Holy Grail, which was filmed in part at Doune Castle. Lovely shrubbery..
