You will probably all remember the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The local population are still suffering from this over 20 years later. We are involved with the charity Friends of Chernobyl’s Children and myself and Becky (the other half) will be hosting a child from near Mogilev for a month .next September. Here are some photos that I took of a group of the children when they were over in June. The photos were for them to take home as mementos, as the area is very poor, and the children rarely have their photos taken. It costs over £1200 to bring a child across for the month so if you were interested in donating to this worthwhile cause please contact us.
